Q: Where are the parties held? A: Paint the Grain Studio will come to you for your private event. Whether you decide to host at your home or reserve a room somewhere just let us know where to go! If you really want to get away, you can reserve your party at our in home studio in Cooper City. Our public events are held in our studio. Please see thepublic events page for additional information.
Q: Where are you located? How far will you travel ? A: We are located in Cooper City, South Florida (Broward County). We service Dade county, Broward county and the Palm Beaches. There is a small travel fee outside of a 15 mile radius.
Q: I don't want to host a party, can I just come to a public event with a couple of friends or by myself? Yes, please see our calendarpage for all workshop options.
Q: How far in advance should I book my party? A: We require a 2-3 week advance notice before your booking date. You and your guests will need to browse our website, choose their design and make a purchase 48 hours before the event date.
Q: How many people can come to a party? A: 6-30! We offer HOSTS who have 10 or more guests to paint for FREE!!!! - this is our way of saying THANK YOU! (up to a $30 value)
Q: How much does it cost per person? A: We offer a variety of signs and styles. Anyone can choose which project they want to paint at any private or public event. Our prices range from $15-$80
See our Project Page for all design options! Q: Do you provide gift cards, e- gift cards, or gift certificates? A: YES!!! Just send us a request to purchase a certificate through our "contact" page and leave us a note with your recipients name and email address. We will send you a link to purchase and send it to them with a sweet note! We will also let you know when they have redeemed their gift!
Q: Can I choose my own paint colors, or do I have to use what is seen in the pictures? A: You will be able to choose your own background stain or paint color and your font/design colors. We have over 30 safe, non toxic/odorless paints and stains to choose from.
Q: Can I have a custom sign made? A: YES! for a small fee. Please allow 1 week prior to event for us to create your custom design. Each project has a custom work request option. (YES, even if you see a sign on Pinterest, we can create using our design expertise- of course making it perfect for you!)
Q: Do you offer a refund? A: Due to the nature of the process the fees are non-refundable. However, If you are unable to attend the party it can be transferable to another event. Or if you prefer we can make it for you for $5 extra. Just contact us for pick up or request it to be shipped to you for an additional fee.
Q: Do you provide food and beverages? A:No. Paint the Grain provides everything you need to create your project. All other items can be provided by your party! Please see your Host for additional information. If you are coming to a Public event, it is a BYOB!
Q: How long will it take to make the sign? A: Each party lasts 2-2.5 hours.
Q: Do I need any background knowledge on DIY's or painting? A: Absolutely NOT! All levels welcome- We will guide you through clear step by step instructions while making you feel comfortable. Just come willing to learn and you will create a sign to proudly display or give as a gift!
Q: How do my guests and I pay? A: After you fill out the information on the "Host A Party" request page, we will confirm your date. You will be able to share the calendar page on our site and instruct them to purchase any project of their choice. All purchases must be made 48 hours before event date to avoid a $10 late fee.
